The Samurai SSS26-KSKW Konoko Sashiko Open Collar Shirt takes the same extraordinary Ai-Madara sashiko fabric from the long-sleeve work shirt and puts it into a short-sleeve summer silhouette that opens up the fabric story in a completely different way. The name Konoko translates to fawn in Japanese, a reference to the dappled spotted pattern on a fawn's coat, a motif that historically carried spiritual significance and was reserved for formal and ceremonial garments.
